Always an Alternative

Samuel Staniforth Ltd is proud to be working with the knife crime prevention charity Always an Alternative on their project “Whats the Point”. This projects aims is to offer a range of knives with the points removed for kitchens that have contact with at risk teens.

We recently completed a project called “What’s the point” that looked at the use of Safety kitchen (pointless kitchen knives) in children’s homes: semi supported living. The results how removing the points from kitchen knives had a positive impact on children and staff at their homes, additionally it reduced the likelihood of the knives being taken or used: reducing knife crime. As this project was found to have such a positive impact, we wanted to make sure that we could offer affordable, long lasting and great quality sets of safety kitchen knives moving forward.
